The final boss fight of Persona 3 was an hour-long slog with something like fourteen phases. Each individual phase wasn’t too bad and you could kind of guess how many there would be since it was going through the Tarot Arcana and was clearly going to stop on Death, but what you probably wouldn’t predict was that one of the final phases had a spell that inflicted random status effects on your entire party, which could lead to your healers getting confused and targeting the boss with a full heal, restarting the whole thing.

This is the second-dumbest thing I’ve ever heard a Southern Representative say about things falling into the ocean.

This probably needs updating, seeing as Godot 4 has been out for years at this point and is currently working on its eighth major update.

7·21 days agoThis seems weird to me. Isn’t Japanese culture obsessed with aesthetics? Like when you buy fast food there it actually looks neat and clean like in advertisements, and you might spend a small fortune on a couple of strawberries but they’ll be the brightest, most flawless specimens you’ll see in your lifetime. Even cheap throwaway meals are packaged like a professional food stylist went over them.
That focus on perfection seems incongruent with the slop machine that churns out soulless, derivative, and often obviously flawed ‘art’.
I still hate FOMO content like this even if they (very rarely) do reruns to let new players grab the old rewards. This kind of thing should be permanent, not something that will vanish after an arbitrary amount of time.

0·2 years agoProbably one of the most famous examples, but the robots in The Matrix originally kept humans around as wetware CPUs using their spare brainpower. Studio execs forced the Wachowskis to change it to them using humans as batteries, even though that makes no sense. Agent Smith possessing someone in the real world in the sequels would have made a ton more sense with the original explanation.

Expect civilian casualties if that ever happens, if that time Hegseth tried to throw an axe is any indication.
