Anyone wearing one sock and shoe with one fully naked foot is either deeply deranged or some kind of alien pod person. It is a pale approximation of human behavior. Unless you are stumbling away from a grenade attack or something, there is no reason to ever exist like that, even momentarily.

    Sock, sock, show, shoe.

Sometimes you grab two socks and then one of the socks is wrong. I’m not walking around in one shoe to fix my sock problem.

Socks first then shoes. My brain prefers to take care of similar tasks when repetition of several steps is involved.

Sock/sock shoe/shoe. Because having one foot warmer than the other while I’m tying my laces is unreasonably annoying.

Normal shoes I’ll do sock/sock shoe/shoe. For lace up calf length boots I’ll do sock/boot sock/boot because it’s a whole process and if I don’t adjust the sock just right it gets super bunched or overly tight on the toesies.

So, really, it depends on the context.

Sock shoe, sock shoe, because I have a golden retriever and don’t want her fur on my socks.

A changing bench I designed and am currently finishing. Current shoes go on the surface next to the pad. Additional shoes for winter, dress shoes, etc. go below. Slide-out hamper in the middle.

I put on one sock and if I’m putting on my shoes at the same time, I then put on a shoe, because my leg is up on my knee so why switch back and forth? The shoe is right there next to me, so I put it on. Also, apparently I’m a “savage” for choosing to wear shoes in my own house. So be it. RAWR!

My shoes stay at the door and never used in the house.

So sock sock first then shoe shoe.

You call me a “savage” for choosing to wear shoes in my own house? I’m not wearing shoes in YOUR house, so why the harsh judgment? Let people be over things that don’t involve you.
