Actually it was called the Iran-Contra Affair.
I blame Reagan for everything that sucks today.
He helped, but was hardly the principal person. Its a large movement fueled by hatred and bigotry, led by a small wealthy few.
So much happened under his watch though. And he gets so much credit from republicans for the economy doing well too.
I think what makes me the most mad about him is he paved the way for the ultra rich that we have now. Massively cut taxes on the wealthy and cut regulations. The tech boom started under his watch, but was paid for by government sponsored research and colleges. They took ownership and now we’re all worse off for it.
Don’t forget, Iran was a democratic nation in the early 1950s until America fucked it up for corporate profits. We created the conditions that brought about the Iran regime to capitulate to corporate interests.

I think the phrases “illegal war” and “war crimes” are redundant. WTF is a “legal” war?
One with a formal declaration and a stated goal.

Bush won with “no new taxes”, made new taxes.
Clinton won with “universal healthcare”, no universal healthcare.
Bush Two won with “enough government spending”, spending was phenomenal
Obama won with “end the endless wars”, endless wars.
Trump won on “build the wall”, no wall.
Biden won on “15 an hour”, $7.25 an hour.
Trump won on “no war”, war.
Sadly, every generation is as full of suckers as the generation before, there are always enough that fall for the puppet show
