Woooow, this is awesome news. This dev has been putting out great games this whole time, so I’m excited to see an expansion on this world, which is their most fleshed-out one (yes even compared to Samarost)

4·23 days agoTTRPGs like GURPS or OpenD6 for free group activities. All you need are pencil/paper/notes app and 3 6-sided dice, and you can roll them with an app or on plenty of webapps (dddice.com is a good one for shared gaming). A lot more to learn than playing cards or board games, but much more fun than a typical game night, something the group can talk about all week between sessions.

21·1 month agoI think I’ve eventually arrived at “Everything is an illusion but it’s the only illusion we have, so it’s as real as anything else.” Everything we experience is a subjective response to a stimuli and no two people have that exact same response. It’s irrelevant whether we’re meat golems piloted by ghosts, dream figments, or NPCs in a massive simulation, because we live in a world with billions of others, and what we do matters to ourselves and those others.
I guess recognizing everyone else as real puts me in the Everything Is Real camp.

I did this. 100% worth it. Better if you put in cable panels on the walls and run the cable through the basement.
