They’re shitposting Deans instead of beans now. Apart from that just some recent drama regarding a frontend with an obfuscated user blocklist (I was one of many, despite mainly posting Star Trek memes and some random comments on random subjects). Admiral Patrick, apparently being responsible for it, rage quit Lemmy after being called out. I think you might get some good search results looking for ‘Tesseract’, if I remember correctly. I didn’t get involved in the whole shebang and couldn’t care less about drama.

Welcome back! The shitposting has been full of the Tesseract event but now gone back to bean, sean and other shitposts.
Other than that some other smal events but things are like normal here, I had my first year here since yesterday and I think it has been great! Needs a bit of time and attention to grow my own homefeed since there is no toxix algorithms to hunt you with content!
